Date Nutella? Oh yes!
During Ramadan, after all day of fast dates are being eaten before Iftar – the evening meal. It is said that they strengthen body. Therefore, they’re recommended for athletes those who work out.
Dried fruits contain a lot of sugar but are much healthier than candies or products that you buy in stores. They provide nutrients such as fiber, which will speed up digestion and lower cholesterol. Calcium alleviates menopausal symptoms and osteoporosis, and salicylates soothes pain. In addition to that the recipe contains a pinch of dark cocoa – magnesium bomb, which will help you to think faster and feel better. Perfect combination and completely vegan.


Date nutella
preparation time: 30 minutes

What do you need for about 700 ml?
500 g of dried pitted dates
1 1/2 tablespoons of natural cocoa
juice of 1/2 large lemon

Now what?
1. Pour 1/2 cup of water over dates and bring them to boil, stirring from time to time. Turn off the fire when dates are soft. 
2. Put  dates into a blender, add the lemon juice, cocoa and start mixing.Slowly add water until you achieve the desired consistency.
3. Cool down and put into jars.

Store for about 2 weeks
